# Swedish .SE domain registration

Sweden .SE is a Swedish country code domain managed by [The Internet Infrastructure Foundation](https://internetstiftelsen.se/en/). Registering a .SE domain through Zone is generally easy, but there is one important additional step – the domain order must be confirmed by the registrant via email.

#### Submit a domain order

Select the desired .SE domain, add it to the shopping cart and submit the order as usual.

#### Confirmation email to the registrant

After submitting the order, Zone Media OÜ’s partner company Ascio Technologies Inc. will send an automatic email to the domain **registrant’s email address**. This email will contain a **confirmation link**, through which the domain registration must be confirmed.

Domain registration will only take effect after confirmation via the link.

#### The confirmation link is valid for 7 days

The confirmation link is active for **7 days**.

- If the link is used during this time, the domain will be registered and activated immediately.
- If confirmation is not made within **7 days**, the domain **order will be canceled**. In this case, the domain will not be registered and the amount paid for the order will be transferred to the customer’s My Zone account as an advance payment.

#### Also check your spam folder

In some cases, the confirmation email may end up in your spam **(Spam/Junk) folder**. If the confirmation email has not arrived within a few minutes, we definitely recommend checking:

- Spam / Junk folder
- Promotions or Updates folders (in Gmail)

If you still cannot find the email, contact Zone customer support at <info@zone.ee>.

**Pro tip**: If you are ordering a .SE domain on behalf of someone else, make sure that the registrant’s email address is correct and actively in use, as the confirmation email will be sent to this address.
