Zone.ee joins the ITL
September 3, 2009
Zone Media (Zone.ee) has joined the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL).
"We serve a substantial number of Estonian internet users and so we have a duty to take an active part in developing our field, ITL membership gives us the best opportunity to do that," explained Zone Media’s CEO Martti Varik. "Zone Media has been cooperating with ITL very closely these past years and this membership is a logical continuation to that," added Varik.
The private limited company Zone Media, which started its operation in 1999, is among Estonia’s leading providers of Internet infrastructure and support services. Zone Media aims to provide easy, fast, but reliable solutions for communications, data exchange and processing on the Internet.
Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (officially abbreviated to ITL) is a voluntary organisation, whose primary objective is to unite the Estonian information technology and telecommunications companies, to promote their co-operation in Estonia’s development towards information society, to represent and protect the interests of its member companies and to express their common positions.
